SIDER TEST has chosen to accredit most of the test methods supplied according to EN ISO 17025. The accreditation includes mechanical tests, chemical analysis, metallographic examinations, corrosion tests, NDT and much more.
CONSTANCE AND EFFICIENCY: THE HISTORY OF THE LABORATORY
SIDER TEST was born in 1989 as material testing laboratory for the mechanical industry. In 1997 the strong attitude toward continuous improvement and the collaboration with important partners involved in great projects leads the laboratory to get the accreditation released by DAR (Deutscher Akkreditierungs Rat), the German Body for the accreditation of the testing laboratories, according to EN 45001.
In the same year the quality management system of SIDER TEST gets the ISO 9000 certification by Lloyd’s Register.
In 2002 the laboratory adjusts its quality management system in order to comply with ISO/IEC 17025 the International Standard stating the “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories”.
Six years later, SIDER TEST is one of the first italian laboratories to get the accreditation by ACCREDIA, the Italian Body for the accreditation of the testing laboratories. The list of the tests performed according to accredited methods is continuously expanding and includes most of the provided tests.
